One Truth, Many Forms: Unveiling Our True Function as Divine Messengers

Dear Diary,

Today, I’d like to remind myself of the teachings from lesson 154 as explained by Marianne Williamson in one of her videos. Here’s my take:

Anytime we identify ourselves in ways that make us different or separate from each other, we’re not stating the truth about our Self. Identifying with our sex, color, nationality, religion, etc.—these are all attributes of the body, attributes that make us perceive ourselves as separate from each other, and put us further from the truth that we are all one.

Another way we separate ourselves from each other is by our “purpose” in life. For example, we tend to identify ourselves with our profession and say, “I am a doctor,” “I am a teacher,” “I am a lawyer,” “I am an artist,” but beyond these appearances, we all share the same function as ministers of God.

Your power in any situation comes from being very clear and in alignment with who you are and why you are here.

The message is “you’re loved.” And if everyone on this planet just felt “you’re loved,” the world would be radically different.

Everything we do and everything we are on this earth is about being this messenger, to carry that message.

Imagine a light connecting you to every person you meet, reinforcing the idea that you are not separate but fundamentally connected through the spirit of love. This practice can help you internalize the lesson’s teachings and remind you of your role as a messenger of love, regardless of the worldly roles you play.
