Dear Diary,
What’s going on? My mind has been running wild for a while now, or maybe it’s my emotions. They’ve been triggered by the similarity of situations, even though the actors and roles are different. The present gets confused with the past, friends with lovers, and the objectivity of reality seems to have vanished.
I understand I have ancient wounds. It’s hard for me to admit that they might not have healed because these wounds are old, dating back many years. I find it challenging to believe this, yet it’s the only explanation I have.
I’ve found a good therapist, maybe even two. I haven’t pushed my foot on the accelerator because I thought I should take it slow, especially since I have a lot going on in my life—work, study, home, projects…
Yet, maybe this—this urge to heal myself—is the most important thing of all. Maybe it isn’t a luxury, something to do only if I feel I can afford it. Maybe this is crucial.
