It’s all in my mind

Human Avatar

Dear Diary,

Today’s insight is that “it’s all in my mind.” While I can’t claim this realization as my own, it’s perhaps the first time I’ve truly pondered its implications. If everything resides within my mind, does that mean the individuals who upset me are simply reflecting aspects of myself, possibly some flawed behavior of mine? Moreover, when I consider that all my past partners have exhibited some narcissistic traits, what does that signify about me? There was a moment today when this seemed clear to me, but now the clarity seems to slip away once more.
