Dear Diary,
Yesterday, I had a nice day with my friend. We talked about personal stuff as well, and I might have shared something I wouldn’t usually discuss: I told her that I think I have this pattern of meeting and being attracted to women with “daddy issues” who, at the end of the day, project onto me features that I don’t have. I also told her that I believe I need to take charge of my own projections, and that this pattern can be seen exactly like that—as a projection of mine that I need to work on myself. Today, reading some ACIM-related materials, I considered that this might even be one of those problems that could take several lifetimes to work through unless I decide to work it out now, in this life.
This probably means forgiving and realizing that I’m not a victim of anybody (including myself). I’m sure one step involves realizing I’m not separate from those women.
