Dear Diary,
It’s always a peculiar journey, this one of the awakening human. Just a day has passed since I was overwhelmed with the painful emotion of humiliation, all because some friends, likely making innocent fun of me, ended up triggering my deep-seated wounds. I continually ask myself, am I too touchy? Sometimes people hurt me in so many unexpected ways that it feels burdensome to even attempt to maintain the most superficial of friendships.
Then comes the realization that my purpose here is to love. I’m not referring to romantic relationships but to that overarching love, that love that is “who we are”, according to the teachings I follow. The kind of love that shines purely because that’s its nature, much like light. I’m here to embrace love, and to love, and I believe each day will further solidify this conviction. Still, resistance, sometimes appearing as mere laziness, continues to surface.
